Today is Friday 30th January, in the year 2009.
My name is Ronan O’Leary and I am the director of the TV documentary that is being made of this trip. It has been a fascinating artistic adventure for me, chronicling what the students are doing and how they are connecting with the local people and their culture.
We are moving to a new site today. As is normal in documentaries of this kind, we can’t really pre-plan what we are going to film. We just have to see what happens.
