Update from the Leader

Thanks to you all for your comments which are read out to students. It's difficult for them to respond because we just have my phone powered by the sun which is not as effective as mains.

This place is wonderful for the group. They are enjoying life in its simplicity with good regularity and despite small bouts of homesickness they are all very happy. We have been welcomed into peoples homes on our long evening walks, little mud cabins thatched with rice straw in an unusually beautiful landscape leading down to
the huge river Matla and tiger country only six miles away.

We'll try to keep the blog up to date but we are under time and technical pressure. We rise at 6 and they are more than happy to collapse into bed at 10.00.

John Alexander.

Great to see the two photos up. It took a while for them to arrive!
More to come today. All charged up. Tomorrow is Saraswati puja day and
after worship and prasad (holy meal) we have day off to go on an
excursion on the river. John Alexander.
