Starting out from Jharkhalli at 6.30am we divided between two boats once we arrived at the small jetty.
By midday we arrived at a wildlife park deep in Sunderbans forest. Tiger enthusiasts were disappointed as the only animals sighted were some spotted deeru and a Ridley turtle.
However on our way back we traversed some creeks between the mangrove covered islands and were rewarded in the cool of the evening with wild boar, reptiles and some colourful birds.
