Ashu Singh at the Clinic in Jhakhali Market
Ashu and I went into town to investigate health facilities. Many village
people complain about the lack of these in this area. Dr Mujambder has a
two year diploma in medicine and operates this small private clinic.
We then went to visit the small dilapidated hospital which had ten beds
but only open twice week when a doctor comes from Basanti 20 kilometres
away and never actually hospitalizes anyone.
