Hello from Eva
Been in India for 3 days now and it feels like we have been here for so much longer. It’s amazing how easy it is to get in the swing of things and get on with the local way of life. Yesterday morning feels like Tuesday of last week! I love the hustle and bustle around the place and just absorbing the energy that’s buzzing constantly. Instead of spending our spare time watching stuff on the telly we are much more enjoyably occupying our time going walking around simply people-watching all the colorful characters that India has to offer. A surprising aspect for many of us I think is how wonderful the Loreto day school is. I didn't really grasp the ethos of the school and was expecting a sparsely decorated unclean building in which good intentioned work was done, even that would be great but in fact it is so much more amazing. The children in here are lively, loving and nourished, it is such a beautiful environment to be spending these few days with. They all possess some special gift which even seems to be touching people who have no interest in children under normal cicurcumstances. Overall just after the short time we have been here I think our experiences so far have had a profound effect.

P.S. Went to Newry today and got scouted to compete to represent Down in the Rose of Tralee! Apparently Granny can't stop laughing about it. Hopefully that'll make up for the boxing night incident! Haha!
