The last day of teaching was a Saturday and it was one of the saddest days of my life. We combined Class 7 and 8 (1st and 2nd Years) and myself, Drew, Wendy, Megan, Maeve and Rachel taught. We did a full two hour revision class and played all their favourite games. The last ten minutes was a breakdown as the kids started crying (“No Ireland, no go!”) and then we started crying too. I miss them so much.
